A strike against popular destination-driving companies Uber and Lyft is being coordinated by the very drivers that work for them for Friday morning across Connecticut.
Employees for the ride share programs say while fares for customers haven’t changed, the drivers’ share has. They are demanding new fares and driver benefits.
You may not be able to catch a ride easily on Friday with Uber or Lyft.
The strike is kicking off from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday at Union Station in New Haven, Bradley International Airport, Hartford Train Station, and Stamford Train Station.
