
Ooredoo announced on Monday it has agreed a strategic partnership with technology leader Uber, bringing together market leaders in technology and telecommunications.
The long-term partnership is set to encompass a range of features in staged roll-outs over the next few years, including promotions, discounts, product co-creation, and as soon as commercially available leveraging of Ooredoo’s world-first 5G network, Ooredoo said.
Speaking about the promising partnership, Manar Khalifa Al Muraikhi, Director PR and Communications at Ooredoo, said: ‘We recognize the importance of safety on the road for our customers, and their need for convenience, so it gives us great pleasure to be able to announce this strategic partnership with Uber, a leader in the transport sector.
