An UBER driver was shot during an attempted carjacking in Fresno early Sunday morning, according to police. At 3:11 in the morning, officers responded to the area of Shields and Valentine after receiving calls about a person being shot. When officers arrived, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound and started to give him first aid. The man said that he was an UBER driver and was just dropping off a fare when three unknown suspects walked up to his car. One of the suspects told the UBER driver to give them his car. At some point during the interaction, one of the suspects pulled out a handgun and shot the Uber driver. All three suspects took off from the area and have not been found. The Uber driver was taken to Community Medical Regional Center, where he is currently listed in stable condition.
