Uber Lyft Drivers & Gig Economy Workers Weekly News: This week I discuss a few stories related to passengers full return to Rideshare and drivers not coming back on the Rideshare platforms at anywhere near the same pace. Not to mention that Rideshare rides are costing passengers 200% normal rates (give or take). Uber needs to work on re-routing drivers back to their starting city especially with the lack of drivers. New Mexico Border Patrol and Police can’t handle the influx of people crossing, what’s different here is these crossings are mostly drugs and human trafficking. Now these cartel crossings are using Uber & Lyft to pick them up to easier blend in. Delivery is still strong, even with so many vaccinated people are not going out in big numbers yet. Uber dumped all the divisions that were complete waste of money, and now are working on their core model… Rideshare, Delivery, & Grocery. Virtual Beer Festival, WHAT?
